Registration
When you make your initial enquiry we will ask you to complete a registration form, this will ask you questions about you, your family and your requirements. Some questions may seem a bit odd, such as do you own a pet? But we don’t want you to spend time interviewing a nanny you love only to find out she’s allergic to your dog. The form maybe long, but all the questions are relevant.
Once registered with us we will provide you with a support pack that includes a job description to personalise, interview tips and questions, interview record sheets as well as essential information on tax, insurance and payroll companies.
Selection
Once we have your completed form we will compare it to the CV’s and notes on the candidates we have. Once we have a selection of compatible candidates who we think would be suitable we will send you out comprehensive details of their work history, CV, and our interview notes to aid you in your selection process, which we will follow up with a phone call to discuss the candidates and answer any questions you might have.
Interviewing
If you wish to interview any of the candidates we put forward we will arrange a convenient time for both you and the candidate, we also supply you with a selection of questions you may find useful to ask. After every interview we will communicate with you and the candidate to get feedback on how you think things went.
Offering a Position
Once you decide to offer your position we suggest a second interview takes place where the candidate can meet the child/ren. Should you wish to offer a position we will help you negotiate with the candidate until both parties are happy. We also recommend you draw up a contract, we can provide you with a sample contract to personalise.
Once an engagement is confirmed the introduction fee is payable.
Aftercare
Lemonjelly offers pre and post placement care, we will stay in touch with both you and your childcarer should you have any questions or concerns.
